Irish coffee is liqueur coffee made with a shot of Irish Whiskey and cream floated on top. It can look like a pint of Guiness when served in a clear glass cup/beaker. Usually made with a common whiskey rather than the best malts.
Also known in some areas as an Irish 'floater coffee' or a liqueur coffee.
